The entrance to Bull Lake B&B is clearly signposted from the B488 and there is a short easily accessible drive up to a spacious concreted parking area. In the dark there is a movement triggered security light that will light your way to the house. There is a ramp 1.6m long and 1.3m wide sloping down with a gradient of 1:17 to the front door which is 78cm wide. Use the door knocker to tell us you are here and we will welcome you in and assist with your luggage.
Bull Lake B&B was built in 2001 so all the light switches are 1.35m from the floor and all electricity sockets apart from those above work surfaces are 28cm from the floor. All door widths are 82cm wide and all door knobs are 5cm diameter rotating knobs. The downstairs is entirely hard floor, linoleum, tiles and wooden boards.
Our accommodation is on the first floor, you enter into the boot room and walk through the kitchen where you will have breakfast to the stairs which are in the hall. The stairs to the first floor are in two runs with a semi-landing half way and a solid banister hand rail on the right hand side from bottom to top. There are 8 stairs each of 20cm height in the first run and 5 stairs also of 20cm height each in the second run. The landing is 108cm wide and leads to our two guest bedrooms with the shared bathroom in between.
On the right hand side is the Pickering room which is a twin room. There is 54cm space between the end of the beds and the window wall and 60 cm between the beds. Opposite is the Lonnon room which is bigger twin room with unrestricted space at the ends of the beds and 80cm between them. In the bathroom the bath is 1.7m long and 70cm wide and the shower is over the bath. There is a rubber bath mat to stick in the bath to help prevent slipping.
Hopefully this gives you enough information about Bull Lake B&B but if not please ring on 01296 668834 or email me through our website and I will be happy to answer more specific enquiries.
